Café Momentum founder Chad Houser and Stand Together Foundation executive director Evan Feinberg were recently featured on NBC 5’s Community Conversations to discuss the expansion of the Dallas-based nonprofit, Café Momentum, into Nashville and Pittsburgh. Café Momentum is an award-winning restaurant and culinary training facility that hires youth exiting juvenile detention and employs them as paid interns to run all aspects of the business. The program’s expansion has been made possible by Stand Together Foundation, which recently invested $1.9 million with Momentum Advisory Collective (M.A.C.) to help scale the restaurant’s internship program that equips youth with life skills, education, and employment opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.

In this conversation, Houser and Feinberg discuss their shared goal to establish Café Momentum restaurants across the country to transform more lives. Check it out.
